My First Dance!!!!!

Image
My first Stake Dance was Saturday night and it was awesomerific !!!!! It was a Quad Stake dance, so I was in no danger of not getting to dance with a boy. You see before the dance I made a long list of boys that I wanted to ask, but sadly it didn't work out well because half the boys on my list didn't show up!!! I didn't let that faze me though, I asked all almost all of the boys in my ward to dance. Then I danced with my friends Jazzy, and Jordan, and we made up crazy dance moves, and invited anyone who passed us to join in. (Everybody declined) We were awesome!!! One of the last songs that the DJ played was The Apache !! I geeked out and at first I was going to get Cameo to dance with me but I couldn't see her anywhere. I refused to stay on the sidelines while amateur who didn't know the Apache butchered it so I ran up front and "danced" the Apache from start to finish, and then at the end everyone jumped as high as they could. It was so much fun! ...

My Palms Hurt Again As I Write About All The Injuries That Sustained While Rollerblading!!!!

About three weeks ago my mom took my siblings and I to Two Dollar Tuesday at our local Roller Rink. I'm total klutz, so I spent most of my time falling and getting up off the floor before I could get hit. I fell in a lot of ways, and I don't really want to mention them all.......But I will tell you a few: It was about my fourth time around, and I was still scared to death to get away from the wall! I had to though because a couple boys were talking to there mom's so I went a little way and then I fell, as I was falling I tried to make it as painless as possible but somehow I managed to land in the splits. The boys watched me as I landed, and then at the same time they went," Oooo. That has got to hurt!!!" Since I do splits in Kung-Fu it didn't hurt that bad, and because all the other places I'd fallen hurt worse falling in the splits was the best! My mom is pretty good at rollerblading but for some odd reason she asked me to be her partner in the Couples...

Thank You......I Guess.....

The other day I started talking to the new guy at Kung-Fu. We both stretched while we talked, and the subject matter was all over the place. In the middle of our conversation he told me about his siblings and then he asked about mine. I told him their names, and went down their ages. Then he asked," So who is the oldest?" When I told him that I was, his eyes got really big and he asked again," You're the oldest?! Oh, well you look like it." I'm pretty sure I looked confused for a few seconds, and then I said," Thank you.....I think." And that was were the conversation ended for that day. The next day he sat next to me doing form practice. He smiled and said," You're Norma , right?" " What????!!!!!" I said internally, and laughed on the outside. I just couldn't believe that he thought my name was Norma !!! Norma ? Seriously?!!!! That's just crazy! It doesn't t even sound like my name!!! Plus I've always said ...
