The Importance of Being Lauren

Halloween is less than a week away!!!!! There are a couple reasons why Halloween makes my "Top Four Favorite Holidays" list every year, is ....well to be honest...I like it because it's a lot of fun!

As all of you know, yesterday was the much anticipated Halloween. My Mom wanted us ready early because we were just going to walk to the park. As usual I was ready extra early so I was stuck helping my younger brothers, and sisters. At 7:00 exactly we walked out the door. But then we had to go right back inside to get my brothers cowboy hat. We finally started to make our way to the park. When we got there it was empty and dark. All of us groaned and said it probably is at the other park. So we all walked the way to the other park. When we got to the other park it was empty. At that moment my Vampire Elvis heart sank. My Mom said,"Well since your are all dressed up why don't you take your brothers and sisters up to the door to trick or treat." I felt like I had been tricked. We made our way around the neighborhood trick or treating. We got a ton of candy! At the last house my mom asked the people about the party. They said,"Oh yeah they had it at 6:00." I turned...

This is another Halloween edition. Please enjoy......... Halloween is tomorrow!! And I'm really excited about it too. I will also be attending our neighborhood Halloween party. My favorite part of Halloween is dressing up. A couple years ago I was a Cowgirl that was kind of boring. Last year I didn't dress up. The only thing I did was wear a mask. This year is the best by far. I'm going to be,"The First Vampire Elvis impersonator ever." I absolutely love that title! Anyway at the party I had my wig on, and all the boys thought I was a boy. Okay would a boy wear flip flops under his costume? Or hang out with girls. I think not! I helped my sister Caterpillar play the games because it was hard for her to move. She was a doughnut. E veryone said that they wanted to eat her costume!! So what is your favorite costume?

This post is a Halloween edition please enjoy!!! About a week ago I was trying on my new Vampire cape in my room. I was hopping up and down and saying I am," Awesome Vampire Cape Woman. I will save you." I had to hold up my cape to keep it from dragging on the ground. Yes and me tripping on it. I heard Monkey bugging someone outside the door. She was being really bossy. Then the idea hit me. She walked into the living room so I opened the door and stood behind it. Then I called,"Oh Monkey I need you for a second." She came stomping in" Wha ."She wasn't able to finish her sentence because I jumped out from behind the door with a expression of a Vampire when it's hungry. My arms held up high so I wouldn't break my cape. That also kind of took a blow to the scary factor. Anyway she ran out screaming. My Dad opened the front door at that very moment.
