Thanksgiving Day 2

Today I am thankful for an education. It has now become crunch time for me. I only have three classes until I finally attain my Associates Degree. Unfortunately, those classes are two sciences, and a math. Ugh. But hopefully I will be able to place into them and accomplish my goal!

I am also applying to colleges!! Craziness! I was invited to an Honor College dinner at Sam Houston! I'll write about it another time, but lets just say I really, really, really, really want to get accepted. It sounds fantastic.

I am also thankful for my parents for pushing me to be better, and to get ahead in college work! They are obviously super wise. I never would have been able to do this all on my own! I love them!

The attack of the talking lamb toy!!

A couple nights ago I was laying in my bed reading as usual. Suddenly my younger sister burst into the room being chased by Crazy Cowboy. They were fighting each other for a talking lamb. It is the most annoying toy ever!! Anyway she begged me to keep it in my bed. I took it, they forgot about the toy and went to sleep. It was really late when I finally finished reading, that meant that I was the only person awake.( Which was bad because, the book that I was reading had a scary part in it that stuck in my mind.) So I turned off the light and climbed into bed. I turned over and then I heard a voice. I froze in fear! Then I started calling out my sisters names, even though I knew perfectly well that they were asleep. I was so scared! I frantically started looking around the dark room to find what was talking. Ha! I Embarrassed Myself In Front Of Strangers And Now I'm Pretending That I Actually Enjoyed It!!!!!

I can't seem to hold in my craziness/weirdness anytime, but it seems like when I eat it gets worse. So the only thing I had working in my favor when my family went to Golden Corral Saturday was my table manners........ The Good Part: Uh....I didn't eat anything that made me feel sick, and I got perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts. (Ooh. Are you jealous? Yeah, I didn't think so.) The Bad Part: I went up for dessert, and as usual I couldn't decide because everything looked good. After a couple minutes of careful consideration of each option I went with the banana pudding. (It was fresh, and I saw the lady make it. And it looked really good.) So I walked up and the moment I grabbed the spoon the Twinkies slogan popped into my head, and refused to stay inside. I was sitting on my moms bed talking, and waiting for the accursed Parental Blocks to allow me back on the computer when this happened........ Me: Buster, pretty please may I read your Boy Scout popcorn brochure! You know how much I love reading it!! Buster: No. It's mine. Me: But.......But for all these years I've let you read my American Girl magazines!! Buster: *gasp* What? *frantic jerking of his head* Mom, I have no idea what she is talking about! Me: *evil grin* Yet you do Buster....Don't you remember when you got in that cat-fight with Warden Monkey for the last issue? I mean with all the injuries you sustained from that, I thought that you might remember. Buster: *Incomprehensible murmuring and dirty looks* Me: Can I read your brochure now ?...... *The sad thing about all of this is that I didn't even get to read the brochure, even after all of that!!
