Halloween is less than a week away!!!!! There are a couple reasons why Halloween makes my "Top Four Favorite Holidays" list every year, is....well to be honest...I like it because it's a lot of fun!
Last night I had the opportunity to go to my friend Maddie's farewell! She has been called to serve The Lord in England!!! While I was there I was talking to one of my friends and I found out that the boy who had his mission interview the same day as me, got his mission call yesterday!! Which then means that mine is either ON ITS WAY, or that it will be here soon!! I seriously feel so nervous and excited. I could barely sleep last night! I am so ready to go and serve The Lord. I love reading about my friends missions from all over the world. I am seriously thankful for missionary work. I have been reading about a lot of different people in the emails, and how The Lord has prepared their hearts to receive the gospel. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to serve my brothers and sisters, and my Father in Heaven.
Last Friday I went to volunteer at the elementary schools Valentine's Party. I had a good time, and the kids were really funny..... 1st Grade Class Party: The first grade classes were doing Valentine Card Scrapbooks for their project. (I liked that better then the " Caterpillar Of Love " thing the third graders did) I helped this one little boy who was uninterested in doing anything other than his Transformers Puzzle Valentine card he had gotten from a friend. As I was "helping" him glue things into his book he looked up and asked,"Why are you wearing nail polish? You're a boy!!!!" I just about fell over in surprise. I looked at the boy, laughed, and then told him,"Well, actually I'm a girl." "Really?" asked the boy. "Yes, really. I promise I am not lying to you!!!" I replied smiling and still laughing on the inside. I finished helping the boy, and then we moved on to the game. You wouldn't believe how many f...
Every year of school I got put in the same class as Clayton. Clayton was my friend so I didn't mind. Clayton called a lot and always said," Mr. Infidel (my dad) may I please talk to Sunbum." He walked over to my house even after I started homeschooling, and asked for me. But after a while he stopped coming. This never bothered me, actually I never thought anything about it until recently. When I say "recently" I mean last Tuesday..... He was riding his bike past our house, and I was having a running competition against Monkey. He watched us as we ran around the front yard and then back, and I expected him to say hi and leave as he always does when he passes. But he didn't. So to break the silence I said,"Hi, Clayton." And gave him a big goofy smile. He looked confused and he asked," Uh, where's Sunbum?" Then I was confused, I furrowed my eyebrows and I said," I am Sunbum." He looked surprised "Oh, you look different....
I want to know NOW! :D
