Are You As Pretty As A Goat?

Yesterday as we were piling in the truck to go to church I was exiled to the cab of the truck, that of course meant that I had to share booty-space with the "little people". In the short time that I was back there I found out that they all enjoy playing telephone and having weird messages. Mel-Smells weird message was directed to me, her sweet voice whispered into my ear and said,"Sunbum is as pretty as a goat!!!!" "What?!! I don't have a beard like they do!!!" I exclaimed in surprise. Later she told me that she thought goats were very cute, and pretty. So maybe it was a compliment........

    Goats are pretty awesome. Besides, pretty is in that sentence. Nothing bad can come from Pretty.

Be afraid, very afraid of the lama-eating casserole

Yesterday we finally finished working on the front yard! And I'm very excited about it. Before we finished Monkey, and I were talking while we weeded the big planter. Monkey was telling me about a girl in her class that can mimic all the characters on Napoleon Dynamite. I was laughing and quoting Tina's moment in the casserole spotlight until mom who was a couple feet away from me asked what I was talking about and I told her," Hello mom, you can't interrupt me while I'm talking about lama-eating casserole." I had meant to say casserole eating-lama, but whatever it didn't come out that way. As you can probably guess I was taken over by my laughing. I have said many crazy things in my life. Most of them my mom has already blogged. So I'm going to blog this one. Besides it is my story. When we were at the pool Friday my mom wanted me to pull her around the pool. I did it, then I tried to pick her up in the water. I jokingly told her that I'll have to get married in a pool so my husband could carry me over the threshold. Please remember that I was joking. Well anyway this summer we spent a lot of it at the pool. So we saw the lifeguards frequently. One of them always had his Rubik cube with him, I thought it was interesting. So when I got home I said,"Mom I want an aerobics cube." Yes I thought it was an aerobics cube. I learned quickly that I was wrong.
