My First Dance!!!!!

Image
My first Stake Dance was Saturday night and it was awesomerific !!!!! It was a Quad Stake dance, so I was in no danger of not getting to dance with a boy. You see before the dance I made a long list of boys that I wanted to ask, but sadly it didn't work out well because half the boys on my list didn't show up!!! I didn't let that faze me though, I asked all almost all of the boys in my ward to dance. Then I danced with my friends Jazzy, and Jordan, and we made up crazy dance moves, and invited anyone who passed us to join in. (Everybody declined) We were awesome!!! One of the last songs that the DJ played was The Apache !! I geeked out and at first I was going to get Cameo to dance with me but I couldn't see her anywhere. I refused to stay on the sidelines while amateur who didn't know the Apache butchered it so I ran up front and "danced" the Apache from start to finish, and then at the end everyone jumped as high as they could. It was so much fun! ...

My Palms Hurt Again As I Write About All The Injuries That Sustained While Rollerblading!!!!

Image
About three weeks ago my mom took my siblings and I to Two Dollar Tuesday at our local Roller Rink. I'm total klutz, so I spent most of my time falling and getting up off the floor before I could get hit. I fell in a lot of ways, and I don't really want to mention them all.......But I will tell you a few: It was about my fourth time around, and I was still scared to death to get away from the wall! I had to though because a couple boys were talking to there mom's so I went a little way and then I fell, as I was falling I tried to make it as painless as possible but somehow I managed to land in the splits. The boys watched me as I landed, and then at the same time they went," Oooo. That has got to hurt!!!" Since I do splits in Kung-Fu it didn't hurt that bad, and because all the other places I'd fallen hurt worse falling in the splits was the best! My mom is pretty good at rollerblading but for some odd reason she asked me to be her partner in the Couples...

Thank You......I Guess.....

The other day I started talking to the new guy at Kung-Fu. We both stretched while we talked, and the subject matter was all over the place. In the middle of our conversation he told me about his siblings and then he asked about mine. I told him their names, and went down their ages. Then he asked," So who is the oldest?" When I told him that I was, his eyes got really big and he asked again," You're the oldest?! Oh, well you look like it." I'm pretty sure I looked confused for a few seconds, and then I said," Thank you.....I think." And that was were the conversation ended for that day. The next day he sat next to me doing form practice. He smiled and said," You're Norma , right?" " What????!!!!!" I said internally, and laughed on the outside. I just couldn't believe that he thought my name was Norma !!! Norma ? Seriously?!!!! That's just crazy! It doesn't t even sound like my name!!! Plus I've always said ...

Due To The Request Of One Of My Favorite Bloggers (Sister Face) I Shall Now Tell You All About My Week At Girls Camp!!!!

*Warning: This post contains a lot of exclamation points, and it's probably not totally grammatically correct! One of the best parts for me is that mom was able to drive us to camp this year!!!! And what made it better was that my friend Cameo rode with us!!!!! I had so much fun singing/talking with my mom, Cammie, and Monkey on the way there, and then showing my mom around camp when we got there!!!! Okay on to the Girls Camp part: Girls Camp was amazing!!! I learned so many things, and since this year we focused on unity I was able to make a lot of friends outside of the 3rd year girls. As I told you in my last post, our theme was W.O.W (Women of Worth). We learned about having “The Hawaiian Spirit” on the first day, and the leaders challenged us to be nice to everyone by smiling and say "Aloha" to everyone we saw. I was pretty much the only girl who did that throughout the whole week!!! And then I took it to the next level..... I woke up before everyone in the mornings ...

Girl's Camp! Woot!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! Camp is in two days and I'm so excited!!! Im our ward we have an awesome camp leader, and she invited Monkey and I over to her house today to decorate camp shirts, and love note jars!! She is totally awesome!! :) Last year Monkey and I made our own camp shirts and so they took the idea from us. (And I got it from my mom!) Our theme this year is on Divine Nature, and Women Of Worth (Or WOW)!!!! Okay, that's all.

A Wise Roach Slayer Once Said," Roaches Must Die!!!" Seriously What Do They Other Then Spread Disease?

Roaches......The most disgusting bugs ever. I learned some new things that I didn't want to know about them today..... You can become allergic to roaches if you inhale, or accidentally eat something with the allergens that they produce. (The allergens come from the roaches poop. Yuck!!!) I can't believe that I didn't use my Roach Slaying powers to kill the four fugitive tree roaches that broke into our house!! Instead of destroying them I took them to our neighbor's yard and said," Go! Live your life, and don't even let me catch you again." And I walked away feeling happy! I was totally going against my Roach Killing nature by doing that!!! I have concluded that those accursed Tree Roaches brainwashed me!!! That's right! Brainwashed!!! I didn't have any desire to kill them, and I suddenly started hating the sight of Raid. (They either brain washed me or I'm slowly turning into a giant tree roach) Thankfully I came to my senses!!!!! I will n...

I Don't Look Anything Like I Did In Kindergarten, But My Old Friend Does!!!!

Every year of school I got put in the same class as Clayton. Clayton was my friend so I didn't mind. Clayton called a lot and always said," Mr. Infidel (my dad) may I please talk to Sunbum." He walked over to my house even after I started homeschooling, and asked for me. But after a while he stopped coming. This never bothered me, actually I never thought anything about it until recently. When I say "recently" I mean last Tuesday..... He was riding his bike past our house, and I was having a running competition against Monkey. He watched us as we ran around the front yard and then back, and I expected him to say hi and leave as he always does when he passes. But he didn't. So to break the silence I said,"Hi, Clayton." And gave him a big goofy smile. He looked confused and he asked," Uh, where's Sunbum?" Then I was confused, I furrowed my eyebrows and I said," I am Sunbum." He looked surprised "Oh, you look different....

I Guess I'm Deaf AND Dorky!!!!!

It all started when I was stretching in Kung-Fu. When I stretch I don't think about anything but stretching, so a lot of times I don't realize what's going on around me. That's why this happened to me....... I knew something was up when I saw all the people next to me move to get farther down the bar. Sadly the only thing I that went through my mind was," Man, do I stink that bad? How can that be? I just took a shower!" For about five seconds more it was silent in the room, (the silence should have been a huge sign that there was something wrong) and then I heard yelling! And it was right next to me! I turned around as quickly as I could and there was Master J. and he was yelling saying," You deaf? You not hear? Move over there." And he pointed to a crowded spot on the wall. I made the mistake of looking up, and I saw that everybody in the whole room was watching me in silence. I blushed so hard my arms started to burn, and then I looked at the g...

Movie Review On: Race To Witch Mountain

Image
Today I saw Race To Witch Mountain at the dollar movie. I for one was not impressed. The only thing they had against the original movie is that they cast Alexander Ludwig as one of the lead male characters, he's one hundred percent more adorable then the other boy. Other than that the original wins by a long shot, although I didn't particularly like the sequel to it...... This movie had way too many car chases for my taste, and even though I've liked Annasophia Robb in everything I've seen her in; I thought she was a little over the top in this one. The worst part though was in the middle of the movie when they dropped the "Global Warming" bomb. *sigh* Just so you know I rolled my eyes sarcastically at that part. (I recycle paper, and I pick up trash off the street when I can. And I never litter. I think I'm helping the environment by doing that, now stop trying to guilt me!) I have to give Disney a couple points for being subtle about it though.... Out...

New Favorite Show, Heartbreak, and One Of My Awesome New Skills!

Image
I admit it! I'm in love with Glee!!! It's funny, and they have lots of amazing singers!!! When my dad came home from work yesterday he said," Sunbum, I saw this show that I think you'll really like." "What is it called?" I asked. "Glee, I think." I clapped my hands and said," I already watched that show on Tuesday!!! I love, love, love it!!!! It's so good." He nodded his head and said,"I knew you would like it." *sigh* I despise being predictable. At the end of the Pilot episode I found out that the whole season won't air until the Fall!!!! I was really sad when I saw that......Then I went and put the Glee version of Don't Stop Believing on my play list, and much to my families dismay I've been playing it nonstop ever since. (I don't like the original song, but their version is really good!) On Wednesday for Mutual we learned knitting. I loved it! I've wanted to learn for a long time, and even though...
