A Perfect Blend

When I was at BYU I became obsessed with Tropical Smoothie. I had finally reached my free smoothie reward for buying 10 smoothies, so I decided to take one home to drink the next morning. I got my two favorite flavors, the mango and Pomegranate Plunge!

The next morning I was looking forward to walking to campus while sipping on my perfect blend. I started my walk from Centennial Apartments and came across a parked shuttle going toward campus. I decided to forgo walking to save some time. I went to the backdoor of the bus, and just as I took my first step up the doors closed. My beloved smoothie exploded as the door completely destroyed the cup.

Losing the smoothie was bad enough but then the bus jerked forward and I realized that my wrist was stuck in the door. Thankfully some people told the bus driver that I was stuck in the door, and he only drove a few feet with me running to keep up. The door opened and I was released from my prison. Instead of climbing in I ended up walking to campus completely covered in my smoothie. So I got to class later than usual (not late of course) with sticky hair and an unmistakable smell of old yogurt. 

Sometimes you have to laugh about your misfortunes and move on. So instead of going home to cry like I wanted to, I just laughed at my misfortune that whole walk to class. I think the most devastating part of the walk was smelling my smoothie every time I moved. Anyway, the universe tried to make things right because I got two free BYU socks on my way home from class. Sooooo maybe I'm back up on my karma??

It's my birthday!!!!! Yes, I'm turning 13 today. *sob* So far I have been treated to a dewberry pancake breakfast courtesy of Monkey, my other siblings decorated my chair, and ladder with streamers. They look really awesome! Plus Mel even let me have pink Boobah to carry around for the rest of the day. Then they made really cute flowers out of tissue paper, one of the flowers is behind my ear at the moment. I love my brothers, and sisters! *Ha! I'm not going to be thirteen until 12:45!*

A book to feed your hunger!

I have just finished reading Scrambled Eggs at Midnight at midnight on Friday. I decided to read it after Cameo recommended it a couple months ago. Yes, I know it took a while but it was completely worth the wait. I wasn't enthusiastic about reading it at first, but as soon as I read the first line where she says,“My mother is a wench. It says so on her w-2″ I knew I was going to love it. Sure enough I "ate" it up, and it was really good. Thank you for recommending this book to me Cameo, and to all of you that haven't read this book you should! *Especially those of you who are hungry for a good book.*

There's this girl in my brothers church class. Her name is Ms. Bossy Pants . Just from her name you can find that she likes to boss people around, even if they're three times bigger than her! In sharing time she was in the row in front of where I was sitting. I was talking to the girl next to me trying to block out Ms. Bossy Pants bossiness. Then she turned around and started doing her signature move(rubbing her index fingers together and saying,"For shame."Oh! And shaking her head at the same time!) Isn't she such a little multi- tasker ? She started with the,"For shame Sunbum . For shame, your not suppose to be talking right now." (In my defence we still hadn't started class yet.)
