Teen Camp 2007

This weekend was one of the most exiting weekend of all books of exiting weekends. It was Teen camp this is my first year too. On Thursday my friend invited my sister and I to her house. Then her mom would take us to the house we were meeting at. So we talked, and played until six then I got ready to go. We dropped my sister at my house then we went down the road to the house we were going to. When we got there we started playing a game called, "Do you love your neighbors"? It's a really fun game. I didn't know how to play but it's pretty easy. Then we discussed our theme, "Light". We had three lessons. Then we had a spiritual thought. Then I went home for the night. In the morning my friends mom came to take me back. We went to the clubhouse and had a lesson on photography. It was very interesting. Then we had lunch and got ready to go to the animal shelter. I got to go in the big van with all my friends. We got got lost and stopped for directions. When we finally got there everybody else was there already. We went though the instructions and started helping. It was really fun! So then we left so we could do our skits. [Which we had not practiced.] My Mom was coming after dinner to help. So we practiced. We gad dinner. I talked to a guy named Nolan. Then we preformed. We were last. My mom watched ours. Then we went back to the Hathcock's house.

This is the semi-positive side of turning 13. Yes this is as positive as it's going to get. So on with the list....... 5. I can regularly watch PG13 movies. (It's not like I want to, I haven't watched a good movie in a long time. I sincerely doubt that PG13 movies are better.) 4. It'll be one year before I can start Seminary! (I can hardly wait!) 3. I can join the "special" group of girls that are already 13 . (They all sit in a corner and call it their seats. *gag* Never! You'd have to kill me first to make me sit over there.) 2. I still have 4 months to wait! *exhale* That's a really good thing. 1. And the number one thing is......... Monkey and I will be twelve for a whole stinky month. So when I turn 13 I'll finally be older than her again! *Hallelujah* *I know it's a while till my birthday but Ms. Cat Lady brought it up yesterday. Oh! And she may be 13 but she's not in the little group . I don't actually notice a difference. I

A book to feed your hunger!

I have just finished reading Scrambled Eggs at Midnight at midnight on Friday. I decided to read it after Cameo recommended it a couple months ago. Yes, I know it took a while but it was completely worth the wait. I wasn't enthusiastic about reading it at first, but as soon as I read the first line where she says,“My mother is a wench. It says so on her w-2″ I knew I was going to love it. Sure enough I "ate" it up, and it was really good. Thank you for recommending this book to me Cameo, and to all of you that haven't read this book you should! *Especially those of you who are hungry for a good book.*

It's mah birfday

It's my birthday!!!!! Yes, I'm turning 13 today. *sob* So far I have been treated to a dewberry pancake breakfast courtesy of Monkey, my other siblings decorated my chair, and ladder with streamers. They look really awesome! Plus Mel even let me have pink Boobah to carry around for the rest of the day. Then they made really cute flowers out of tissue paper, one of the flowers is behind my ear at the moment. I love my brothers, and sisters! *Ha! I'm not going to be thirteen until 12:45!*
