The Importance of Being Lauren

Thank you for this award Brynn. It's awesome. I would like to give this to Whitney, Cam, Sister Face, and Lauren. One of Buster's all time favorite movies is Nacho Libre . I was not there the first time he watched it, so of course I got stuck listening to his interpretation of the movie, phony accent, and everything! After what it seemed like hours he finally stopped to breathe, and then he asked,"Sunbum, do you know what they got paid with when they won the competitions?" "No, I don't. But I'm sure that you'll tell me anyway," I replied. Unfazed by my negativity he jumped up and said,"Pretzels!" I fell over in surprise, and then I thought,"Wow! Those guys must really like pretzels! I wouldn't fight anybody for 10,000 pretzels! I don't even like pretzels!" A couple days later I decided to watch the movie to find out if it was true. As it turns out they got paid in pesos, not pretzels!...... I was pretty disappointe

For the next two days I will post about my brother Buster. These stories are reminders to me that he is truly my brother, and not some snot nosed being from another planet. A couple years ago when Buster was five his teacher made the class peanut butter play dough . She told them,"This is edible. That means you can eat it. But I don't recommend that you do." Yeah. She said that to a bunch of five year olds! I think she overestimated their intelligence. You see the only thing Buster heard was,"Edible." He ate the whole bag of play dough ! And then he wondered why only he, and another boy ate theirs. After church my dad told Buster,"Buster *shaking his head* she didn't say to eat the play dough . She meant to tell you that it was non-toxic!" That didn't faze him because later that day he told me,"It was so good! It was a little salty but other than that it was great! You should try it someday." Sure. I don't really see that hap

This is a another reason why I can't wait for the Twilight movie. I don't think Robert looks that bad as Edward now. The rest of them are perfect! I can hardly contain my excitement about this!

Today I'm going to Blog about a few of my many cuts, and burns. Just so you know all of them were self-inflicted while cooking. Face: I was taking my cereal out of the microwave but I got distracted for a second, and when I looked up the bowl fell on my face. It hurt so bad, I can remember the pain vividly. I cried for a long time, when I finished my dad applied a black cream to help stop the scarring. I had to wear the ugly black cream on my face for a long time. I'm happy to say that I don't have any residue from that incident. I was glad to know that I wouldn't be like the Phantom of the Opera . I don't think I could stand wearing a mask. Index finger: I was cooking grilled cheese sandwiches for my siblings, yet again I got distracted. Buster had said something funny for once so I was laughing really hard, and then I felt it. Yes! That's right. I had a weird dream last night! So that means Weird Dream Monday is now in session........ So in the beginning of the dream I was studying. *I know that's nightmare enough but that's not the scary part.* My bedroom window was open but I didn't think anything about it. As I was walking out of the room Caterpillar ran into me, she just kept walking without apologizing. I thought it was weird because she usually makes a big deal about apologizing, but I walked away without saying anything. Later that evening she ran into the living room, screaming, and stomping her feet. She looked possessed, and mad. I was scared, and shaking as she walked right up to me, and yelled in my face,"It's all your fault! Someone robbed you because you left the window open!" Today I had the opportunity to see The Spiderwick Chronicles , and Jumper . Here are my reviews of both.... Spiderwick Chronicles It may not have been exactly like the books but it was close enough. It made me cry, laugh, and sit on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I think that it was one of the greatest movies ever! The only thing I didn't like was that they made it a lot sweeter than the books. The books were pretty negative, and I liked it. I highly recommend this movie to all of you! * Sigh* I think that Freddie Highmore is adorable playing his own twin. I love the Spiderwick Chronicles! Jumper This is one of the worst movies of all time. It moved slowly, it didn't explain anything, and it didn't make sense. The dude was full of himself, and put other people in danger because of his stupidity. The movie trailers made it look so good, but sadly it wasn't. This is the semi-positive side of turning 13. Yes this is as positive as it's going to get. So on with the list....... 5. I can regularly watch PG13 movies. (It's not like I want to, I haven't watched a good movie in a long time. I sincerely doubt that PG13 movies are better.) 4. It'll be one year before I can start Seminary! (I can hardly wait!) 3. I can join the "special" group of girls that are already 13 . (They all sit in a corner and call it their seats. *gag* Never! You'd have to kill me first to make me sit over there.) 2. I still have 4 months to wait! *exhale* That's a really good thing. 1. And the number one thing is......... Monkey and I will be twelve for a whole stinky month. Weird Dream Monday is now in session. I am aware that it is Wednesday but I had a really weird dream last night! So on with the dream...... Last night I had a dream with the door doll in it! It began how it always does. I was laying in my bed, and then she floated up to my bed. As usual I tried screaming but I couldn't, unlike the other dreams she came right next to me. The moment she came next to me she giggled in my ear, and then I wasn't in my room anymore. Needless to say I was scared out of my wits! I finally realized that I was outside, and she had turned into a toy. She started telling me about her plan to be a toy, and take control over children. Then my siblings came stampeding out of the house and started playing with her. I tried to stop them but sadly they couldn't hear me. She got really angry with me for trying to expose her for what she is and she turned back to her regular form. She knocked me down with her braids, and then everything started spinning. W

My new Sunday school class is huge ! There's also a lot of noisy boys in the class, and I'm one of the few people that pays attention to the lessons. Yesterday they were louder than ever! So our teacher decided to have a President , and arranged seating. I was voted into the primaries against my will. I was up against Ms. Sades, and Stinky Steve. Stinky Steve had all the boys except for one vote for him, and Ms. Sades only had three votes including her own. I won by one vote! Stinky Steve could have won if he didn't tease Evil Bob so much. Yes! Evil Bob voted for me! I was very surprised! I didn't really want to be President , but I didn't want anyone else to be President. Needless to say I gladly accepted! Sadly after the vote our teacher also made us sit in arranged seating. I got the spot next to Wacky Zac, Stinky Steve, and Toothy. Argh! They're the loudest of all the boys!
