Twilight movie excitement!

This is a another reason why I can't wait for the Twilight movie. I don't think Robert looks that bad as Edward now. The rest of them are perfect! I can hardly contain my excitement about this!

    I'm trying to get used to the cast they picked, but they don't look the way I pictured them in my brain, so it might take me a while...

    I'm still excited to see the movie! :D

    Nancy: Alice is perfect. I think the rest of them are okay looking. Edward looks pretty good in this picture!

    Edward almost looks HOT! Alice is the only one that looks exactly like I pictured her to look like in the book, though. What is up with Jasper's hair? It's horrid. It looks like some sort of mammal died on his head.

    Tee Hee at Jasper's hair. I'm sorry, it looks like a horrible attempt at a wig :P Some pictures it looks fine, but this one just accentuates the fact that the part looks way too high off of his head to actually be his own hair....

    look at that, jasper has a horrible wig, an they knew that when they took the picture, so they stuck him in the back and blurred him out. its gonna take me awhile to get used to the cast

I don’t remember carving pumpkins often as a child. Now as an adult, it’s one of my favorite Fall traditions. When Phillip and I first started dating we started our carving adventures. Phillip tends to favor basic pumpkin faces, and I like to challenge myself to do more intense figures.  In 2024 I did a dinosaur and asteroid! What’s more scary than mass extinction??? In 2025 I went less scary. I attempted to do the homescreen for a PAC-Man game! The letters and all the little figures were so difficult to do! I was happy with the results but it was obviously amateur hour! I can’t wait to see what my brain comes up with for 2026!!

Dating Misadventures: 4th Wheeling at an Orchestra Concert

Good dates actually can happen! I also hit the date quota for February! February 23rd I matched with a guy on Tinder (Idaho Guy). He messaged me immediately and asked about my reading prompt (I read 111 books in 2023). I was interested immediately because most guys are super gross in their first message. We chatted about books, libraries, and Avatar the Last Airbender. I asked if he wanted to hang out on the weekend and he said that he had time on Sunday. I also threw in "if you like classical music there is a free concert tonight!". He texted me right away for the information. He told me about his years playing tuba, baritone, and piano.  I told him that I had already invited my little brothers so he would be our fourth wheel. He said he was totally okay with it. It’s a Broadway Miracle!

I have a love/hate relationship with NYC. Despite the many traumatic experiences I had while living there, there are still so many things I love. I miss the food, the walkability, the history, some of the people, and the energy of being in the city. Years ago when Hadestown first debuted, my friend Amelia saw it and loved it. Since then it’s been on my Broadway bucket list. My goal for my last NYC trip was to go see the musical on Broadway, however, we got so busy doing other things I wasn’t sure it was going to happen.  A day and a half before my flight home a miracle happened. Amelia and I were hanging out when she got a text message. The text message was in a church group chat and said “giving away a Hadestown ticket for free. Show starts in 45 minutes.” Amelia and I looked at each other and she immediately responded to the message.  Less than 5 minutes after that I was running (in heels) to the nearest subway station.
