What things would be like if I were in-charge!

In the front of our neighborhood we have a sign that the "Home-Owners Association" puts announcements on. Can you guess what this months was? No, probably not. All it said was a boring "Happy April Fools Day". I was totally outraged at this lame sign, and I wanted to do something about it. I told my mom,"I could do so much better than that!" This is what the sign would look like is I was in-charge......


"Christmas Parade this Saturday @ 10:00 come and meet Santa! (Be sure to dress warmly)

April Fools Suckers!

Have they no creativity whatsoever? I guess there's always next year.

    Ha ha ha ha ha! I so wish you would have been able to do that! That's a really good idea :) They should hire you and put you on the HOA board!

Words cannot express how much love I feel for Spring Break right now. This picture pretty much sums up how I felt when I got out of school last Friday! It has been a crazy busy semester, so this week without having to worry about assignments and projects has been absolutely fantastic! New York City in the summer is Satan's literal anus. It smells bad and it's hot as hell. In an effort to help people in the city cool down, the fire department opens up the fire hydrants. Many people use the open water as a splash pad or a car wash. I preferred to close the curtains and lay in front of a fan for hours at a time. But to each their own, right? I lived down the street from the 1 Train at 135th and used that train almost exclusively to get to Amelia and Dillon's house. The 1 train was more reliable than the life ruining M11 bus, even though I liked taking the bus to the West Side way more. Thanksgiving Day One!!

Okay, so I have never blogged from my phone before, so this will be interesting! Winter I my favorite time of the year. I love the cold weather, the clothes, the Christmas romantic comedies, and especially the general attitude. I love having an attitude of gratitude. And it seems like during the holiday season other people adopt that point of view as well. One of the most rewarding feelings is when you bring a light into someone's life, and the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays gives opportunities to do that. For the next five days I will be posting the things I am thankful for!! 5) Over the summer, I decided that I wanted to do a big project for personal progress. I decided on making baby hats for premature babies. Unfortunately, however, I am not crafty, I don't know how to knit, and I fail miserably at every artsy endeavor I have tried.
