This is a question that I have been pondering about for a while. Please give me your opinion on this question.

When you tell your family that you don't like somebody, and you have almost completely deluded yourself into thinking that you don't, but you know deep down inside you do like them. Does that count as lying to yourself, and others?

    I guess it just depends on why you're saying you don't like them... :S Are they the kind of person you don't usually like? Do you just not want people to find out, because you want it to be a secret? (I had a lot of secret crushes that I would say I didn't like because maybe they weren't "cool" enough for my friends or something). I don't see it as a "lie", but maybe just a little white lie, and it's not one that's hurting anyone... That's kinda a toughie!

    There is nothing wrong with pretending something doesn't exist. It's as I always say, "Ignorance is bliss!".

    Plus, lying is bad, but you aren't obligated to tell everyone everything you are thinking. Besides lying about liking someone doesn't even count as really lying.

    Hmmm, that is a toughy. Are you meaning you don't "like" them...like "like like" or just in general? Because that would be soooo different. Clarify before I give my answer, I don't want to sound foolish haha!

    It sounds to me like you're talking about a boy. If that is the case, it makes sense to pretend you don't like him, because you might be feeling too embarrassed or shy to admit that you really DO like him! As for telling YOURSELF you don't like him when deep down inside you know you really do...well, maybe that is to protect yourself from possibly getting your feelings hurt. To me, those aren't REAL lies!

    Or I'm totally wrong about all that junk I just typed.

    If you're talking about something else, than I am totally and completely confused, because I'm foolish like that!

Last Friday something really embarrassing happened to me, and to make it worse it was at Seminary!!!! Just so you know I love seminary! It's the best, and I learn a lot of new things everyday. So last Friday we were going over memorizing tips for Scripture Mastery, and it was pretty lame. (It was a rhyme thing to help us remember what the scriptures were about.) So I made a rap with it and here's how it went, "*beat box please* Yo, yo. 1st Nephi 3 "Prepares A Way For Me". 1st Nephi 19 "Scripture Likening". *That's right* 2nd Nephi 2 "Adam Fell For You".*point at the people next to you* Word. *random nerd gang signal *" (We have to learn 25 of these scriptures so I only did the first three in my rap......) Yeah, Well I Got Tired Of Your Name So I Changed It And Stuff.....

Yesterday I got my sword!!! I can't believe I've advanced to Sword Forms already!!! I'm super excited to start, but I'm a little scared of cutting myself while learning! (Just like Cutter-Dude) One of the boys in Kung-Fu named his sword: Picklepimp after the sword that he fights with in his favorite video game. I love the name Picklepimp !! I want to name my sword Picklepimp . I don't think I can live without something named Picklepimp in my life. I think it's an extremely funny name, and I want to steal it from him..... I still haven't found the perfect name for my bo-staff, and I've had it for months! I have a really hard time choosing names, I always want to go back and change it..... What do you think I should name my sword? *I named the skeleton pen I got for Christmas "Killian", I really like that name and I haven't had the desire to change it yet! (That's a record or something!)*
