Ha! I Embarrassed Myself In Front Of Strangers And Now I'm Pretending That I Actually Enjoyed It!!!!!

I can't seem to hold in my craziness/weirdness anytime, but it seems like when I eat it gets worse. So the only thing I had working in my favor when my family went to Golden Corral Saturday was my table manners........ The Good Part: Uh....I didn't eat anything that made me feel sick, and I got perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts. (Ooh. Are you jealous? Yeah, I didn't think so.) The Bad Part: I went up for dessert, and as usual I couldn't decide because everything looked good. After a couple minutes of careful consideration of each option I went with the banana pudding. (It was fresh, and I saw the lady make it. And it looked really good.) So I walked up and the moment I grabbed the spoon the Twinkies slogan popped into my head, and refused to stay inside. I thought that I was safe because I didn't see anyone around me so I opened my mouth and said," Where's the cream filling? Now that's the stuff... Hostess !" I did the voice and everything!!!! I d...

Uh....Hi Missionaries......Would You Like To Come Back At A More Appropriate Time?

I have no idea what I ate the day for lunch but it must have been BAD, because I had major bathroom problems every ten to fifteen minutes....... It was about ten minutes before we had to leave for Kung-Fu and I was minding my own business while doing my "business" when Monkey flew through the bathroom door and frantically said,"Sunbum, the missionaries are here and they want to use the bathroom." She had the face she uses when she's messing with me so I just laughed and said," Yeah right Monkey, I'm not going to fall for it this time." "Uh.....Sunbum, I'm not kidding with you, they really are here." " Sure ." Was my sarcastic response. Then Buster opened the door and his eyes were practically popping out of his head as he said,"Get out of the bathroom!!!!! The missionaries need to use it and it's dirty!!!" I knew he wasn't kidding because Buster would never open the door while I'm in there without a...

I Hope You Enjoyed The Entertainment Ladies And Gentlemen I Mean: Intimidating Home Teacher Boy!!!!

Yesterday I went to my grandparents house to go and see their new dog. While we were there some of us started playing their Wii, and the rest of us watched a movie. While I was watching the movie my dad walked into the room and said," Connor is here." I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I said, "What?!!....um.... I mean so what? Who cares?" Then my aunt smiled and sweetly said,"Sunbum, will you go and get me a glass of water from the kitchen?" "Uh, sure." I answered. So I walked down the stairs and saw him. I gasped in horror when I found that in fact my dad wasn't lying to me, he truly was there sitting on the sofa where I had just rested my butt on, then I realized that his dad was Home Teaching !!! I pulled myself together and ran past the living room where they were sitting (he was facing my way so of course he saw), and into the kitchen. I fumbled while trying to pull a glass down as fast as possible, and accidentally made a...

Whoa! Look At All The Pretty Psychedelic Colors......

A few minutes ago after I finished working on the awfulness called Algebra. I felt like my head was going to implode from all the knowledge that I had just attained from studying, so I decided to rest my head on the inflated balloon that rested on the shelf right next to me. It felt really good...... until I moved a little bit, and then B A N G !!!!! For about five minutes after my accident I was seeing psychedelic colors flying at me from all around the room, and seeing my sister in double! After I recovered from that I realized that my balloon was not free, but that he was beimg held captive to the Evil Decorated Cement Block Party Balloon Weight Thingy ! (I knew my balloon wasn't evil enough to lead me unto major head injuries!) *Lesson learned from this: Do not use a balloon for a pillow, because it may be working (under captivity) for the Evil Decorated Cement Block Party Balloon Weight Thingy ....That is all.*

Hm.....I don't think this is right....

I saw the Valedictorian at the library!

I saw the Valedictorian at the library last Friday! I remembered her from the article that I read in the local newspaper about her achievements, and that she volunteered at the library. Yes, I know I'm a nerd for reading the paper, knowing who the Valedictorian is, and knowing her academic plans for the future. I excitedly whispered to my mom,"That's her, that's her!! The Valedictorian!!" My mom told me that I should congratulate her because I would love it if somebody did it to me. Then she started quoting,"Do unto others as...." That's where I rudely interuppted and walked over to her and stammered,"Um....Hi...I saw you in the newspaper, and I think that being Valedictorian is really awesome! So congragulations!" She and I both looked embarrassed but she still said "thanks", and then we parted. After that I bragged to my siblings that I talked to the Valedictorian! As you could probably guess they were really jealous of me......

Yet another example of my dorkiness!!!

Almost every time I get into a car I hit my head on the door frame. The probability my hitting my head is 8 out of 10, yes I know that's really sad but it's completely true. On the way home from camp I had a splitting headache that only musicals could fix. You can probably guess why I had the headache but I'll tell you anyway. Okay I was distracted by a girl who was teasing me about the way I say buttons, which I pronounce buddins. It's not that different, is it ? I was telling her that I wasn't weird for saying buttons the way I do, and then SMACK!!!!!! It was so forceful that I fell backwards into the actual door, and then the crown that I was wearing painfully pressed into my scalp. (I now have a bump on my head from it.)*sigh* I had to endure friends teasing almost the whole way home.......

Freak secret...Toothbrush edition

As most of you know I'm completely and utterly obsessed with my teeth. But does anybody know why? Nope. But I'm going to write about it today. So then you can say,"Pshaw, I knew that a long time ago. That's so old news." Do want to be able to say that? If you do read on.... The disgusting reason why I'm obsessed..... .. Last year when I went to Girls Camp I made list after list of things to bring. After all my preparing, and craziness I forgot to list an very important essential. My toothbrush !!!! Of course when actually remembered it I was well on my way to camp. Needless to say I panicked. But sadly I couldn't do anything but worry. For the whole week I had to clean mouth with mouth wash! It was absolutely horrid. I was afraid to talk to anybody, in fear that they would comment on my breath, or die because it was so bad. I was so thankful when my secret sister gave me mint gum. The moment I got home I made a solemn promise that I would never do that...

The results of being a dork!

Today I'm going to Blog about a few of my many cuts, and burns. Just so you know all of them were self-inflicted while cooking. Face: I was taking my cereal out of the microwave but I got distracted for a second, and when I looked up the bowl fell on my face. It hurt so bad, I can remember the pain vividly. I cried for a long time, when I finished my dad applied a black cream to help stop the scarring. I had to wear the ugly black cream on my face for a long time. I'm happy to say that I don't have any residue from that incident. I was glad to know that I wouldn't be like the Phantom of the Opera . I don't think I could stand wearing a mask. Index finger: I was cooking grilled cheese sandwiches for my siblings, yet again I got distracted. Buster had said something funny for once so I was laughing really hard, and then I felt it. The burning sensation swept across my finger. I was in shock for a moment, and then I screamed a scream that would put all the scream-o s...

The story of Sunbum

This post is dedicated to Lesee! So here is the story behind the name Sunbum! I went through a really "hippy" phase about two years ago. I wanted to be a real "hippy" , so I needed a name! My Mom was Sister Strippy because she wears a lot of stripes! But I didn't have anything. I was really bummed. *gag* Anyway so I was going through my science book, and there it was! The perfect name for me! Well actually it was sebum! Of course I misread it as Sunbum. I excitedly made it Sister Sunbum . That was my nickname for a while, until I went all "emo". I hung up the name, thinking that I would never use it again. But the day I started my Blog I took it down again! Then my screen name became Sunbum (my secret identity).... Weird story right?

I almost fainted, but my Prince Charming didn't come to sweep my off my feet!! (because I already was off my feet!)

Today was my first ever Kung-Fu lesson. As you all know I'm very clumsy. No not like the Fergie song! I fell in the first exercise, I knew that was a bad sign. Even though I fall all the time, this was different! So we were doing the instructor told us to do, and then he wanted us to start moving our arms around in circles. My arms were screaming in protest! Then the room started spinning, I couldn't move anymore, then I collapse. The instructor told me to wait by the door, then he got a chair for me. Now I'm going to quote what he said,"You no exercise!" This was my simple reply,"No. *ashamed face*" So I sat there ashamed, then I thought,"Sunbum if your siblings can do it so can you!" Then I painfully got up and finished the lesson with them. *Sigh* The next lessons Friday. I'm going to be practicing a lot till then. Well time to go practice. If I can still feel my fingers after Friday I'll Blog about the second lesson!

Weird dream Monday presents: Curse of the door doll!!

Weird dream Monday was canceled due to the Internet connection shutting down and not saving anything. So today I bring you 'Weird dream Monday-Tuesday'! I had this dream along time ago, but it is still vivid in my mind! This is how it went... It was dark and everyone else was asleep. I was just laying in my bed thinking, and trying to get to sleep. Then I looked over to the door, the doll face wasn't there! I didn't see it anywhere. Well to understand the dream you have to know that I was very scared of the doll face. I still avoid it but I'm not scared anymore. Okay now that you know that we can go back to the dream. I couldn't breathe or move! I looked to the edge of the bed it was right there, and it was moving back and forth! It was mumbling things I couldn't understand. Then it smiled at me and tried to strangle me with it's long braids. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. Then I woke up. I couldn't go to sleep after that! The next night I ma...

Yes you may call me the 'Queen of the Macarena'

About a year ago we went to meet all of our family at this restaurant. We all went to the large table and sat down. Everyone was talking, and laughing and having a good time. Then a mariachi band came into the room and started playing. My Mom asked them if they could play the Macarena. They started playing it then my Mom said,"Sunbum why don't you dance?" Then in front of everyone in the room I did the Macarena. My whole family stared at me with shocked eyes. Well except Mom she almost fell off her chair because she was laughing so hard, and she had to hold herself. I got really embarrassed by the middle of the song, so I sat down. The guys patted me on the back and said,"That I did a great job." So there now I'm the first "Awesomest Macarena dancer ever."

Do you have unusally thick ears?

This story is from my ear piercing experience. And I'm happy to know that this will never happen again. This story takes place on a bright and sunny Friday evening. My sisters and I really wanted to get our ears pierced like Caterpillar. So we went to the store in the Mall that Caterpillar went to. The lady there lets say her name was Fern. So Fern let us pick out what earrings we wanted. She got the staple like thingy out and asked,"Who's first?" She looked around then Monkey went up to the chair. It was done in a second and she didn't even flinch. The lady looked at me expectantly. I shook my head. So Mel went next. I was surprised to see she didn't even blink. I convinced myself that it wouldn't hurt. So I walked up to the chair I could feel my families eyes on me. Then I felt Fern put the staple thingy on my ear then excruciating pain hit me. I started crying. Then Fern exclaimed,"Hm. You have unusually thick ears!!" Everyone started laughing...

Is shoulder shaking contagious?

One day we were all sitting on my moms bed watching videos on youtube. Earlier that day she was singing a Paul McCartney song. We didn't know what it was so she found a live performance clip. It was a pretty slow song suddenly the camera turned on this young woman. She was wearing a half shirt and she was shoulder shaking vigorously. We all started laughing. Maybe this girl got a bug in her shirt and she was trying to shake it out. But we will never know the truth. Well anyway ever since then my mom shoulder shakes to songs with a good beat. Sometimes when Paul McCartney is on the radio my mom starts shoulder shaking like the girl did. I told her that I would never shoulder shake. It started a couple days ago when it hit me. She had just put Superstar on my play list. Before I knew what was happening I was shoulder shaking . Now I do it without thinking. This is a very embarrassing thing for me. Now I want to know if anyone else does this. If you do join the club.

Black skirt

This story takes place two years ago. I was sitting on the second to last row in primary. The young men were all sitting behind our row. I was wearing my new black skirt that my mom bought me for my birthday. When we were singing one boy leaned forward so he could talk in my ear. He said "Did you know your underwear is sticking out of the back of your skirt"? I started blushing and saying "no I don't", but then I turned around and I saw it was true! The girl next to me heard and started teasing me, while I was still trying to pull my skirt up sitting down. Which was very hard. I was very embarrassed because I knew all of them had seen my flowered underwear. I never wore them again, and I didn't wear the skirt until a couple months had past. I was very upset with the girl next to me, and I told her to go away. Thankfully she didn't mention this to me ever again. And I think he's forgotten too, so I 'm the only one that blushes when I remember th...
