This may have been the the worst day of school ever!

When I was in school I always had the worst substitutes. So about a year before I started home-schooling I had this substitute that was absolutely horrible. She was our teacher for the whole week. On Friday we were having a reading test, in the middle of the test I had this overwhelming urge to use the restroom. I went up her desk and asked her if I could go. This is what she told me, "Sorry sweetheart you're going to have to wait until we go to lunch." She didn't listen to me when I told her that this was an emergency. I finished my test in a rush so I could go. I ran back up to the front and begged her to let me go. She said," Fine you can go." I ran out of the class and down the hall. Sadly the classroom was a very long way from the restrooms. I did not make it! I had to go to the nurse and get a change of clothes, after I went and told the teacher. She gave me shorts to wear. So I walked around school for the rest of the day in shorts to small, and almost dead with embarrassment. I wish that was an experience that I could forget!

*I still blame the teacher for not letting me go earlier*

This is the semi-positive side of turning 13. Yes this is as positive as it's going to get. So on with the list....... 5. I can regularly watch PG13 movies. (It's not like I want to, I haven't watched a good movie in a long time. I sincerely doubt that PG13 movies are better.) 4. It'll be one year before I can start Seminary! (I can hardly wait!) 3. I still have 4 months to wait! *exhale* That's a really good thing. 1. And the number one thing is......... Monkey and I will be twelve for a whole stinky month. So when I turn 13 I'll finally be older than her again! *Hallelujah* *I know it's a while till my birthday but Ms. Cat Lady brought it up yesterday. Oh! And she may be 13 but she's not in the little group . I don't actually notice a difference. I

A book to feed your hunger!

I have just finished reading Scrambled Eggs at Midnight at midnight on Friday. I decided to read it after Cameo recommended it a couple months ago. Yes, I know it took a while but it was completely worth the wait. I wasn't enthusiastic about reading it at first, but as soon as I read the first line where she says,“My mother is a wench. It says so on her w-2″ I knew I was going to love it. Sure enough I "ate" it up, and it was really good. Thank you for recommending this book to me Cameo, and to all of you that haven't read this book you should! *Especially those of you who are hungry for a good book.*

It's mah birfday

It's my birthday!!!!! Yes, I'm turning 13 today. *sob* So far I have been treated to a dewberry pancake breakfast courtesy of Monkey, my other siblings decorated my chair, and ladder with streamers. They look really awesome! Plus Mel even let me have pink Boobah to carry around for the rest of the day. Then they made really cute flowers out of tissue paper, one of the flowers is behind my ear at the moment. I love my brothers, and sisters! *Ha! I'm not going to be thirteen until 12:45!*
