Seventh grade going on fourth....

I have terrible news! Yesterday I found out that for the past four months I've been doing fourth grade math! No wonder it was so easy! I thought it was all middle school work, but now I know it wasn't! I can't believe that I didn't notice! Now I'm doing another curriculum, that is seventh grade level. *Sigh* This is the biggest mistake I have ever made!

Shape Up Barbie

This year our Girls Camp theme was Shape Up. I was really excited to go to girls camp this year. On the first night the leaders told everyone that they would be on the lookout for people that did nice service things. That person would win the Shape Up Barbie doll for the day. I never win stuff like that, so I didn't even try. The pattern started the first night. I held the door for a couple of people, then before I knew it everyone else was shoving through too. I didn't really care,we all would eat at the same time anyway. So I did this every meal after that.Our second night at camp [the night the first person would get the Barbie], I was in the middle row on the floor. Before they told us who won, they told us what the person did to deserve it. I wasn't really listening ,I was thinking about our skit. Suddenly I heard my name being called. Put Me In Coach (Professional Pumpkin Carver???)

I don’t remember carving pumpkins often as a child. Now as an adult, it’s one of my favorite Fall traditions. When Phillip and I first started dating we started our carving adventures. Phillip tends to favor basic pumpkin faces, and I like to challenge myself to do more intense figures.  In 2024 I did a dinosaur and asteroid! What’s more scary than mass extinction??? In 2025 I went less scary. I attempted to do the homescreen for a PAC-Man game! The letters and all the little figures were so difficult to do! I was happy with the results but it was obviously amateur hour! I can’t wait to see what my brain comes up with for 2026!!
