Me and my friend Martin K. Chillaxing On His Bday!!!!

Image
First of all: I'm pointing at Martin K. I am not holding hands with him!!!! Sorry, that's what it looked like to me...... Anyway . Just look at how happy I am to be with him, I mean he's a famous historical figure and stuff!!!!! (Sadly, Martin K. can not change his facial expressions so he can't show the excitement he's feeling inside to have me take a picture with him!) Martin K. and I go wwwaaaayyy back, to about a year ago......That's a long time right?

Please!!!! Tell me it's over!!!!!

This is what the real Breakfast Bowl looks like! A couple months ago my mom and I tried the new Jack In The Box breakfast bowl; courtesy of my grandmother. I was pretty hungry that morning so I asked my mom for the big bowl, instead my wise mother said,"You've never had it before, how are you sure you'll like it?" She of course won, and we both got a small. It smelled so good and I was almost tempted to open it right then and there but I waited like the good girl I am. Finally we stopped and I opened the container holding what I thought was breakfast deliciousness; as I opened it I found that the ad on TV was a total scam! The bowl of "food" on my lap looked like really bad dog food that even my dog who eats practically everything wouldn't eat. "I'm sure it'll taste fine.", I told myself as I took a small bite of it. I was wrong, so wrong I tell you. It was absolutely horrid! I couldn't believe that somebody would actually sell...

Wait....What did I say?

Behold, the latest dorky thing that I have done.......... Cameo and I were partners for our Young Women class a couple weeks ago, and the lesson was on "How To Be In The World, Not Of It". So each group had to choose a scroll and read the problem on it, and then come up with a solution. I was still embarrassed from something I had said earlier so Cameo went up and got our scroll, when she came back she whispered,"I have a good feeling about this one, it was totally calling out to me!" As she was unrolling it my heart sank when I saw the title was "Chastity and Virtue".... I chose to go last because I had to read about "Chastity". My face was burning when I got up to the front and started reading. I wasn't paying attention to the things that I was reading and I started to let my mind wander, and then I heard myself say,"You should not commit " sexual transmissions "!" That's when I heard the gasps, and then the burst of...

Well my grandfather died of a haircut!......

One of my bad habits is that when I talk I get distracted very easily, and then I say things that I really don't mean. This is the most recent incident....."Oh, really that's horrible? My grandfather died from a haircut also!!" Then everybody in the car that I was in started laughing hysterically, and then I realized what I had said. Sadly it was too late to correct myself.....Last week at Mutual one of the girls said to another who wasn't there the day of my embarrassing mistake,"Yeah. Well Sunbum's grandfather died of a haircut!! *giggle* I wonder how bad it was....." Of course the other girl almost wet her pants from laughing so hard much to my horror then everyone else wanted to no what was so funny. Yes, yet again everybody laughs at me and not with me. They laugh, and laugh, and laugh until it grows old, and I say something else dorky that they can laugh at...... *What I meant to say was "heartattack". And in my defence I was still th...

Yet another example of my dorkiness!!!

Almost every time I get into a car I hit my head on the door frame. The probability my hitting my head is 8 out of 10, yes I know that's really sad but it's completely true. On the way home from camp I had a splitting headache that only musicals could fix. You can probably guess why I had the headache but I'll tell you anyway. Okay I was distracted by a girl who was teasing me about the way I say buttons, which I pronounce buddins. It's not that different, is it ? I was telling her that I wasn't weird for saying buttons the way I do, and then SMACK!!!!!! It was so forceful that I fell backwards into the actual door, and then the crown that I was wearing painfully pressed into my scalp. (I now have a bump on my head from it.)*sigh* I had to endure friends teasing almost the whole way home.......

Porsche or Porch?

The other day my dad got one of those ad letters in the mail. It read, "You've won the grand prize! You can choose between a Porsche, or a Mustang!! Congratulations!!!" I thought he meant porch so I asked,"Why don't they just give you the whole house?" Then Monkey said," Yeah . Wait, is it a front porch or a back porch?" My dad looked disgusted and he told us that a Porsche is a car, and that people don't usually give away porches . See I learn new and interesting things everyday. *sigh* At least it happened at home so nobody else had to suffer through that horrible ordeal.

I like THIS Metro Station

Image
This picture is of my new favorite band Metro Station . The band was started by Miley Cyrus' brother, and Oliver from the show Hannah Montana's older brother. I have their song Shake It on my play-list, and I recommend that you listen to it. That's right just go and click on it and give it a listen. Hopefully you guys will think that they are awesome too!

Freak secret...Toothbrush edition

As most of you know I'm completely and utterly obsessed with my teeth. But does anybody know why? Nope. But I'm going to write about it today. So then you can say,"Pshaw, I knew that a long time ago. That's so old news." Do want to be able to say that? If you do read on.... The disgusting reason why I'm obsessed..... .. Last year when I went to Girls Camp I made list after list of things to bring. After all my preparing, and craziness I forgot to list an very important essential. My toothbrush !!!! Of course when actually remembered it I was well on my way to camp. Needless to say I panicked. But sadly I couldn't do anything but worry. For the whole week I had to clean mouth with mouth wash! It was absolutely horrid. I was afraid to talk to anybody, in fear that they would comment on my breath, or die because it was so bad. I was so thankful when my secret sister gave me mint gum. The moment I got home I made a solemn promise that I would never do that...

The results of being a dork!

Today I'm going to Blog about a few of my many cuts, and burns. Just so you know all of them were self-inflicted while cooking. Face: I was taking my cereal out of the microwave but I got distracted for a second, and when I looked up the bowl fell on my face. It hurt so bad, I can remember the pain vividly. I cried for a long time, when I finished my dad applied a black cream to help stop the scarring. I had to wear the ugly black cream on my face for a long time. I'm happy to say that I don't have any residue from that incident. I was glad to know that I wouldn't be like the Phantom of the Opera . I don't think I could stand wearing a mask. Index finger: I was cooking grilled cheese sandwiches for my siblings, yet again I got distracted. Buster had said something funny for once so I was laughing really hard, and then I felt it. The burning sensation swept across my finger. I was in shock for a moment, and then I screamed a scream that would put all the scream-o s...

This is another reason that I hope I move.. very soon!!

Last night we did Karaoke night for Mutual. Before we started singing we had lesson about the importance of listening to good, and positive music. She told me that I shouldn't listen to depressing music. Well that's good to know! Now I'm going to listen to my "emo" play list. After that interesting lesson we started singing. Nobody wanted to sing alone so we went up in pairs. Cam wanted to sing Bowling for Soup's snazzy song " 1985". That was the only song that I knew all the words to so I went up with her. Everyone sang along with us until we got to the part where he talks about her shaking her azz on the top of the car. Guess who forgot to stop at that part? Yup! That's right. Me ! It took me a second to realize what I had said. When I looked around I could see all the girls looking slack-jawed at me. Finally to break the silence Cam said,"You see, this is what happens when you listen to music with bad lyrics. You say things that yo...

M&M trail mix goodness!

I don't really like hiking. The reason for that is that I always trip, get bitten by bugs, and crash into trees. I'm not kidding either! But if they bring M&M trail mix I'm in! My love for M&M trail mix began two years ago at H-E-B camp. We went with our home school group. On the first day there we had to go hiking, and identify a bunch of insects. I was groaning to myself as they passed out the water, and trail mix. I wasn't a big fan of trail mix, I thought it was way too salty. But who cares what I think? So we started the hike after we took some pictures. By the middle of the trail I was scratched from head to toe from falling. I also crashed into a couple low branches on the way back to camp. By the time we stopped to snack, the M&M's were melted. It was pretty hard to eat! But the second I was able to get some in my mouth it seemed as if all my problems just melted away. Then I was able to make it back without anymore injuries! I love M&M tra...

The story of Sunbum

This post is dedicated to Lesee! So here is the story behind the name Sunbum! I went through a really "hippy" phase about two years ago. I wanted to be a real "hippy" , so I needed a name! My Mom was Sister Strippy because she wears a lot of stripes! But I didn't have anything. I was really bummed. *gag* Anyway so I was going through my science book, and there it was! The perfect name for me! Well actually it was sebum! Of course I misread it as Sunbum. I excitedly made it Sister Sunbum . That was my nickname for a while, until I went all "emo". I hung up the name, thinking that I would never use it again. But the day I started my Blog I took it down again! Then my screen name became Sunbum (my secret identity).... Weird story right?

Surprisingly I wasn't Kung-Fu falling today!!

Last night was the third Kung-Fu class! I can finally reach the high bar, and I can almost do the splits. I'm so glad I didn't quite the first time, because now it's not so hard! This week I have to learned how to do cartwheels. *sigh* I fell on my booty many times. I haven't read any really good books lately. But finally I found one. It's called "Magyk" it's from a series called "Septimus Heap". It is really good! These are the names of my future sons: Edward Jeremy, Septimus James, Matthias Peter, and Liam Leven. I know those are kind of weird names, but those names are my favorite guy characters from books. Well actually Jeremy is because I love that 'Pearl Jam' song, and I've always liked James. Sorry all these things are really random.

I almost fainted, but my Prince Charming didn't come to sweep my off my feet!! (because I already was off my feet!)

Today was my first ever Kung-Fu lesson. As you all know I'm very clumsy. No not like the Fergie song! I fell in the first exercise, I knew that was a bad sign. Even though I fall all the time, this was different! So we were doing the instructor told us to do, and then he wanted us to start moving our arms around in circles. My arms were screaming in protest! Then the room started spinning, I couldn't move anymore, then I collapse. The instructor told me to wait by the door, then he got a chair for me. Now I'm going to quote what he said,"You no exercise!" This was my simple reply,"No. *ashamed face*" So I sat there ashamed, then I thought,"Sunbum if your siblings can do it so can you!" Then I painfully got up and finished the lesson with them. *Sigh* The next lessons Friday. I'm going to be practicing a lot till then. Well time to go practice. If I can still feel my fingers after Friday I'll Blog about the second lesson!

Hm... Well it's shorter than the original! *cough*

I just wrote a really long post about my New Years eve. When I went through it I thought to myself," What in the world are you babbling on about?! Nobody has time to read about your whole evening! Face it you're not even interested." Okay, okay I'm going to give a short summary of my evening. Happy now?! Yesterday morning I went with my Dad to the grocery store, and Blockbusters. I strongly recommended "Stardust", and "Harry Potter". Well now you can guess what we got. I wanted to get "Stardust because my Mom bought me the book a couple months ago, but when they started doing "things" I decided not to read it anymore. Thankfully the movie wasn't like that at all. My whole family loved it! My Dad even recommend that we buy it so we can watch it over and over again (I liked the idea). Sorry I forgot I'm trying keeping this "short ". Anyway so Dad took us to get fireworks, and Mom said that we were crazy, because it...

Sunbum! Save some granola bars for later!

Wow! This is probably the second time that I have weird dream Monday on a Monday. I had this dream about a year ago. But its message has stuck with me. Okay so before I went to sleep that day I had eaten about four granola bars! I was really embarrassed that I ate that many. So this is how my dream went: I was at the gates of Heaven, and God was standing there with a long list of names. I was the only one there in front of him. He turned and told me," Sorry you can't come in. You've eaten too many granola bars in your life time." Then this big gust of air came and took me away. At that moment I woke up! I was so scared that I completely stopped eating granola bars. I told my family my dream. Yeah and you'll probably guess what they said. What did you think about this dream?

You will never see me play on ESPN!! (Well for two reasons actually!)

This week starts Young Women basketball practice! A couple months ago they were doing Volleyball. I know I suck at sports but I'm especially bad at Volleyball! So I didn't go to anything related to it. But I really like Basketball! I played on a team at the YMCA. Through the whole semester I scored one basket. It was really sad. I like playing against Buster, because I beat him every time!! Of course I make every basket when I'm at home, but when I'm playing anywhere else I can't do it. Do you guys have that problem? Oh! And the Friday after Christmas the Young Women are having a camp out. It sounds really exciting!!

A night in Bethlehem

Last night was our ward Christmas party! The theme was 'A night in Bethlehem.' I was the apprentice tailor for Sister M. My job was to record everything that people took. I also helped people get outfits put together. Sister M. made little 'treasure' bags for the people who returned the fabric at the end. Mona, and Crazy cat lady were there, they both were helping with the fruit stand. I called Cat lady 'Miss fruity' the whole time. She was greatly annoyed. I loved helping! I always feel left out when I don't have something to do. Mona came over to talk to me while everyone was watching the 'Nativity scene'. She also went over to the sweets shop to get both of us cookies. I was very surprised that she knew my favorite kind of cookie. (Which is oatmeal raisin) We said our fare wells and departed. I thought the party was the best! They did a really good job setting everything up. And that's all I have to say about the party!!

I think I should be a critic!

Yes. It's that time of year again. The time when most radio stations put on stinky Christmas music. (I absolutely despise Christmas music.) All of it sounds the same to me. I would also like to mention that most Christmas movies stink too. I would do a top ten list, because I'm sure there is enough stinky Christmas movies out there. But sadly enough, most people just don't have enough time to read that long of post. So here it is the Top 3 worst Christmas movies ever: 3. A Christmas story . "You'll shoot your eye out." The classic quote to this movie. Yeah! Sure we get it, you really want a BB-gun for Christmas. Your parents don't trust you enough to have one, so just give it up already and enjoy your 'fuzzy pink bunny pajamas.'Okay thanks. 2. Christmas with the Cranks . Yup! That's right only number two. Take your canned ham and cry about it. So your daughters coming home last minute for Christmas. Tell her you have plans already, you don'...

Weird dream Monday!

Remember when I mentioned Jams in the Apache post? Sadly I just can't ignore the main person in my story so he has to be in it.*sigh* Well you see we've been in the same ward for about three years now, and I've never spoken to him. But here's the weird thing about it, there is not a week that goes by that I don't dream about him! (or D.D) Anyway last night he was in my dream here's how it went....... I thought it looked like downtown but I wasn't sure. It was early afternoon, and for some reason Jams was with me, and my Dad's Focus was in the parking lot. In my dream I was fourteen, I was at work but I didn't know what it was that I was doing. Then I asked to borrowed his cell phone, to call my Mom and she told me to take the Focus and come home. Then I was really confused, how could I drive? I'm only fourteen. Then I asked Jams if he could drive me home. He said he would, then he climbed in a got the keys from the door. He kept stepping on the b...
